Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”

People are fond of dividing the world into two separate groups. Us and them, the rich and the poor, management and labor, the educated and the uneducated, even those who have education but have no wisdom. Most of these divisions are set to make one group more exclusive.  But when the example of the narrow gate is given by Jesus it was not about exclusion.  The gate, while narrow, is still open to all. It is not about us and them, but simply everyone with the motivation for more than self will find.  No soul, seeking peace and assurance, is ever denied entrance.
